Special Sessions at Dioxin 2017
There will be numerous Special Sessions on a wide variety of topics including sessions on new and emerging persistent organic pollutants (POPs) such as halogenated flame retardants and perflourinted chemicals. The conference will hold at least five parallel sessions throughout the meeting. The final list of sessions will be posted on the program page shortly. We are planning to dedicate one of the parallel sessions entirely to Flame Retardants (FRs) and related POPs and a second to Perfluorinated and Polyfluorinated Alkyl Substances (PFAS).
We have secured a guaranteed hotel room rate of $199.00 CAD ($148US or 140€ as of March 3, 2017) per night. This rate applies 3 days before and after the conference. The Sheraton Wall Centre is a four star hotel and the current hotel rate for the conference week not using the link below is $595 CAD per night. August is a very busy time in Vancouver and we highly recommend you secure accommodation as soon as possible as we are expecting the Conference Hotel to sell out.
